LaTonya Olivier has over 20 years of combined consulting and internal HR Executive experience. She has directly worked for employers ranging from divisions of large publicly owned corporations to small entrepreneurial enterprises. She has worked in private and public sector as well as nonprofit associations as an HR Leader. LaTonya has an undergraduate degree is in journalism from Texas A&M University and her Master’s Degree is in Adult Education and Human Resource Development Leadership from The University of Texas at Austin. She has also completed all but her dissertation towards her Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Planning. LaTonya’s national certifications include Certified Compensation Professional and Global Remuneration Professional by World at Work and Senior Professional in Human Resources with the additional California specific designation by the Human Resources Certification Institute. She also has a Mediator Certification from the University of Texas Conflict Resolution Center. LaTonya serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Northern California Human Resource Association.

LaTonya is the original “badass HR” leader. Her fierce intelligence, focus on company operations and financials, and the courageous way she coaches C-suite, HR, and operations leaders have made her my role model.
LaTonya is all about making HR better. To that end, she is past president of the Northern California HR Association, and was involved at the national level with SHRM. LaTonya is “all but thesis” in her Org Behavior PhD, and she is certified by SHRM, HRCI, and World at Work.
