There are many lists in HR – who to follow on Twitter, who’s blog to read, who’s concurrent to sit in at various SHRM shows and HR events. There are also efforts to recognize new faces and new ideas. Those are important.
However, trying to find those who have consistently brought excellence to the HR profession over time is difficult.
That was the impetus for the 50over50HR effort. Find people who continually have impact on HR. The key word is continually.
50over50HR is designed to highlight individuals who have consistently created value for their company, for their clients, for their friends and for their social networks. These high performers can sometimes get lost in the all the hoopla around the “new” faces and names who have succeeded once or twice – but have yet to prove themselves as having long-term impact on Human Resources. We’re not looking for one-hit-wonders. HR is full of them. We’re not looking for the next “Surfaris” – we want to find the Beatles…
